KMI enhances PxTrend MIS with material route tracking – full transparency for gypsum and building materials production
KMI has enhanced the existing PxTrend MIS for a leading gypsum and building materials manufacturer by adding a powerful material route tracking function.
This enables the customer to trace material movements, production sequences and order flows precisely by time and process step — accessible across the entire organization.
A key technical advantage:
All required input data is collected directly from the existing PCS 7 / CEMAT control system with minimal additional programming effort, making the solution highly efficient and cost-effective.
Using the integrated PxTrend Connectivity Package, the tracking functionality is also fully scalable:
In future phases, it can be extended to include process-dependent measurements and production KPIs for even deeper analysis and quality correlations.
Information is visualized via the modern PxTrend User Interface, offering multiple display formats:
- Sankey diagrams for intuitive material flow visualization
- Gantt chart views for chronological order tracking
- Table-based analysis for detail-oriented evaluations
All views can be accessed from any workstation across the company, fully controlled via user roles and permissions.
